The PER (Primary Encephalic Respiration) or Primary Respiration
Mechanism (PRM) discovered and studied by W.G Sutherland comprises
the following phenomena:
- Skull and Spinal Cord movements.
- Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) oscillation.
- Intracranial and Intra-spinal membranes.
- Cranial bones mobility.
- Involuntary mobility of Sacrum and Ilium bones.
The MRP frecuency in normal physiological conditions is among 8
and 12 ppm.
This frequency can be increased or reduced as well in cycles as
in amplitude according to the action of one or several of the structures
cited below.
