The four basic functions of the oral cavity which can cause the malpositioning of the teeth and jaw are: respiration, mastication, swallowing and speech. The Glot-Up is designed to correct these factors using:

1. The central teat induces a correct tongue position and helps to avoid malocclusion through tongue pushing. The teat also provides a substitute for involuntary biting during sleep (Bruxism) and acts as a pacifier.
